I have been an elementary teacher for 28 years! I am currently teaching in a primary multiage classroom that includes first through third grade students. I have been teaching in a multiage classroom for 21 years and I love it! I also taught 2nd grade and I was a Title 1 reading teacher.
I have a strong background in reading. I strive to shape classroom and instruction materials to help students develop valuable thinking skills and encourage a deeper understanding of concepts within and across subject areas. I like project based learning activities where students are exposed to multiage and differention teaching approaches.
My awards have been the many children that I have had the honor of teaching. The awards come in little shapes and sizes and remind me daily why I am in this profession.

I live In a small town in northern Wisconsin. I have a great husband and three wonderful grown kids. They still keep us busy and I love it. When I am not hanging out with them, I enjoy reading, bicycling, running, eating, cooking and of course shopping. I enjoy creating teaching materials and sharing them with others.
