TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Hi, friends! I am Catherine Reed, and I am just beginning my journey in education. My first year I taught 5th grade ELA in a 1:1 classroom. Then, I explored 1st grade in my dream district for two year, and am now teaching a K/1 combination class. I am in love with teaching and creating engaging products for my students!

MY TEACHING STYLE

With 30 iPads and 30 kiddos in each of my classes, technology and hands-on learning rule! Everyday I teach 3 classes of reading, 1 class of writing, and 1 class of Reading Intervention.

I grew up in the public school system and attended a lovely private, liberal arts school in Kentucky. While in college, I had the opportunity to live abroad (London) where I earned a double major in Elementary Education and Government!
