Description
*Updated on 7/11/18. Now includes levels 1-5.
*Based on the Marzano Proficiency Scales
These posters will allow your students to easily monitor their understanding of any concept. This is a great way for teachers to see how students are feeling about their skills and abilities, letting teachers adapt their instruction and interventions accordingly.
I refer to these posters multiple times every single day in my classroom. To rate themselves, I often have my students write their level on their dry-erase boards or a sheet of paper. I also have them hold up their fingers to show what level they feel like they are at. Whenever I have my students complete their exit slips, they also write their level in the corner to show me how they are feeling after the lesson.
***I've included 6 different versions (versions 1-3 have the same fonts; different colors. Same for 4-6.) The words "LEVELS OF UNDERSTANDING" can be printed and cut out or you can use one of the premade title posters. LEVELS 1-5 have also been added to the document.
I've also added desk tags for a quick and easy reference for your kiddos! Cut out the desk tags and place them on each student's desk. These tags will get students thinking about their learning EVEN MORE! :)
